How to activate Roamify's Japan Unlimited Data Plan for Android
Most of Roamify's plans only require users to install and turn on their eSIM. However, some plans require an extra step or two.
Specifically, Roamify's Japan Unlimited Data plan for Android devices. After installing the eSIM, there is one more step:

Note: This guide applies only to Android devices (Pixel, Samsung, etc.) and is not intended for Apple devices.
Before you continue:
Note: Unlocked Android smartphones have APN settings, but their location varies depending on the phone manufacturer. In general, you can locate the APN settings on your Android device at:
- Settings > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names
- If you don't find them there, look in the settings' Wireless & networks, Network and Internet section, or Cellular Networks.
Android Devices
**APN Configuration** #
1. Go to Settings
2. Tap on 'Networks & internet'
3. Tap on SIM
4. Tap on your Roamify eSIM
5. Tap on 'Access Point Names'
6. Make sure the APN information was configured with the following information:
- APN: vmobile.jp
7. Save the settings
8. Ensure both “Mobile Data” and “Data Roaming” options are enabled.
Samsung Devices
**APN Configuration** #
1. Go to Settings
2. Tap on Connections
3. Tap on Mobile networks
4. Tap on 'Access Point Names'
5. Tap on 'Add' on the top right to create a new APN
6. Make sure the APN information was configured with the following information:
- APN: vmobile.jp
7. Save the settings
8. Ensure both “Mobile Data” and “Data Roaming” options are enabled.
